Who We Are
CLI is a Native American owned and managed organizational consulting company. CLI had its roots with Alaska Pacific Consultants, which was started by Dick in 1986. In 1989 CLI was formed as a corporation. Today, CLI serves clients throughout Alaska, the Lower 48, and has served clients internationally.
Dick LaFever
Dick LaFever is an experienced consultant focused on excellence, providing clients with world class consulting and training services.
Dick assists small and large businesses, non-profit groups and government agencies to address internal and external problems effecting the mission, goals and operational effectiveness.
He has worked with a variety of clients such as, the North Slope Borough , BLM, U.S. Department of Fish & Game, Alaska Department of Fish & Game, BP, the Aleutians East Borough, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, NANA/Marriott, Cook Inlet Housing Authority, Nordic Calista Drilling Company, Anchorage Water and Wastewater (AWWU), Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Dick is a member of the Native Dispute Resolution Network/University of Arizona and the Association for Conflict Resolution.
Dick is an adjunct instructor at Alaska Pacific University in the MBA program and Degree Completion program. Teaches Business Ethics and Values, Organizational Development, and Leadership programs at APU.

Terry D. Stimson, Ph.D.
Terry Stimson has over twenty years of developing and delivering training programs with business, government and non-profit organizations.
Terry's work involves training and consulting in communications, conflict resolution, community building, strategic planning, team building, principled negotiations, mediation and facilitation in the private, public and non-profit sectors in all aspects of management development and business practices. Terry teaches for the University of Phoenix ion line and Wayland Baptist University in the Graduate Management Program in the areas of Strategic Planning, Management Processes, Power and Influence, Managing in the Service Organization, Training and Development, Quality Management Systems, Organizational Theory, Negotiations, Business Ethics, Teamwork, Conflict Management Systems. Students at the University of La Verne, in Alaska, named Terry Instructor of the Year in 1997-1998 and 2000-2001.
