What Others Have to Say About Dr. Stimson

"Terry Stimson has distinguished himself as a practitioner and theorist of organizational leadership. As a former member of the Alaska State Senate, he earned a reputation as a legislator who could cut through layers of bureaucracy and get the job done; his reputation for hard-nosed yet highly principled action earned him the nickname of "White Knight." While a school principal he was known for his team-building skills - the ability to exercise leadership in a way that empowered those around him to achieve at their highest potential. His doctoral work at Harvard and the Fielding Graduate Institute yielded important insights into organizational dynamics, revealing the complex interplay between personal and positional power in the exercise of leadership. He is a skilled public speaker, one with that rare ability to communicate the insights of research and practice into every day language."
Richard Appelbaum, PhD Chair, Sociology Dept. University of California Santa Barbara

His style and approach to education was well received by our adult students who found him prepared, knowledgeable and challenging. Terry is highly successful in engaging the students as equal partners in the classroom and thus succeeds in making the learning experience relevant, effective and enjoyable."

"Without a doubt, Dr. Terry Stimson was the most influential instructor/presenter I had while going through my master's degree program at the University of La Verne.

His ability to present materials in such away to "stimulate" the learning process is truly a talent. He brought reality in to the classroom and in to the students' lives.

Enthused and excited to learn, I felt comfortable to engage which led to sharing ideas, thoughts, and possibilities. He helped created a "vision" and gave us the tools to necessary to reach for the stars and succeed as managers and leaders. Dr. Stimson was extremely instrumental in shaping my personal career path."
